Pierre W. Priestley, Esq., CES, serves as the Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel at IPX1031. In his role, he provides legal and technical support as well as transaction structuring guidance to the company's operations in the Pacific Northwest, Midwest, and Northern California. Pierre is recognized as an expert in the rules and regulations of the 1031 Exchange process, bringing over 38 years of experience as a tax attorney and consultant. Before his current position, he was Vice President and Director at a large bank-owned Qualified Intermediary and also spent over 6½ years at General Electric Capital Corporation, where he was involved in administering a multi-million dollar Auto Leasing Tax Deferred Exchange program.Pierre holds a JD from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and an MBA in Finance and Business Policy from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also earned a BA in Accounting and Political Science from Mercyhurst University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Additionally, Pierre is a Certified Exchange Specialist and has served as the former Chairman of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators’ CES® Council. He is licensed to practice law in Ohio.
