Brent Abrahm

Brent Abrahm is a co-founder of Accruit, a leading qualified intermediary company based in Denver, CO, which he started in 2000. The company, which was acquired by Inspira Financial in 2023, offers a patented technology solution for managing like-kind exchanges, and Brent continues to lead the team focusing on major strategic initiatives. He is also part of the extended leadership team at Inspira Financial.Brent has a history of developing innovative Qualified intermediary programs, initially for a Fortune 500 company before founding Accruit. He is a recognized speaker and panelist in the industry, working to raise awareness about the benefits of Qualified intermediaries across various industries. He has served as the president of the Federation of Exchange Accommodators (FEA) and was a co-chair of its Government Affairs committee for five years. Brent remains actively involved with the FEA and advocates for the support of like-kind exchanges in legislative processes, having participated in over 150 meetings in Washington D.C., including discussions at the White House, Treasury, and Congress.Outside of his professional commitments, Brent was a co-chair and continues to serve on the board of Colorado Succeeds, a non-partisan group aimed at improving Colorado’s education system. He is also a founding member and board member of Generation Ocean, a non-profit focused on ocean education and conservation. Brent enjoys outdoor activities with his family, including skiing, cycling, scuba diving, and hiking.
